Tone is excellent for a violin of this size. Details: The one-piece back measures 13 1/4" long; overall length of the violin is 21 3/4." The back measures 7 5/8" at the widest point of the lower bout; 6" at the upper bout. The top is narrow grained. Blocked in all four corners and fully lined. No cracks. Neck joint, fingerboard, button and peg box are solid (see pics), no repairs yet. A soundpost is standing inside.
