  HOUSEHOLD ARTIFACTS                                 The below books about Picasso (except the Picasso, Braque, Leger) were used by arts writer Marcia Corbino in 1980 to write an article that is included, published June 15, 1980 for the Sarasota Herald Tribune. Corbino attended the exhibition. I scanned these books and the scan bed was smaller than some of the books so they might be cut off at the sides. 8 pounds of material for $90, all listed below. 1.     PABLO PICASSO: A Retrospective by the Museum of Modern Art New York, 1980, 464 pages, softbound, a few red ink lines in margins, first edition purchased at opening, Edited William Rubin. Profusely illustrated B& W and color. Owner Marcia Corbino’s name and date on first page in red ink. 11 x 9 ½ inches. Almost flawless condition 2.    Small Catalogue of PABLO PICASSO: A Retrospective, Published by the Museum of Modern Art New York . 1st edition, 1980, 12 pages, softbound, 2 color illustrations and 4 floor-floor plan of the exhibition. 9 x 5 ¾ inches. Flawless condition. Also, a well-used press release folder although it contains four miscellaneous articles about Picasso not about this exhibition. A feature article about Picasso by Marcia Corbino and this exhibition 3.    PORTRAIT OF PICASSO published by the Museum of Modern Art New York, 1957, 96 pages, first edition, softbound with book jacket, Edited Roland Penrose. Profusely illustrated B& W. 9 5/8 x 7 1/2 inches. 4.    THE SCULPTURE OF PICASSO: Published by the Museum of Modern Art New York, Stated 1st edition, 1967, 230 pages, softbound, Edited Roland Penrose. Profusely illustrated B& W and color. 11 ¾ x 9 ½ inches. Book is complete but has cover creases front and back, binding tight, glue has seeped and stained book at rear binding, glass ring on front cover 5.     PICASSO, BRAQUE, LEGER: And the Cubist Spirit 1919-1939. Published by the Portland Museum of Art, ME, Catalogue of Exhibition, 1st edition, 1996, 64 pages, softbound, Edited Kenneth Wayne. Profusely illustrated in color and B& W. 11 x 8½ inches.
